Creating Sustainable Communities and Protecting Our Ecosystem
Our programme focuses on implementing activities related to the Carbon Credit Harvest and Purchase Programme in the Tabora region of Tanzania. This region boasts a vast expanse of forest reserves and village forests, covering a total of 3,614,307.3 hectares. Our purpose is to harness the natural capital asset of carbon credits derived from these forest resources, thereby contributing to sustainable communities’ livelihoods and ensuring the flow of essential ecosystem services. These services include carbon storage and sequestration, as well as enhancing ecosystem resilience to the impacts of climate change.
